2007 was quiet for me. Very quiet. Yeah, I did alot of traveling and network with alot of people, but it proved to be one of the slowest years for me in a long time.
In all this, my successes are many. And a huge part has to do with making sales and marketing loads of fun to do. I used to dread it, but now, I look for all the clever ways I can promote my brand and raise my profile.
I credit podcasting and social media with helping me change my attitude towards sales and marketing. Who knew that using just my voice could catapult my business to a whole other level?
I’d like to help you make sales and marketing fun again. I’d like to help you shift your 2008 business plan so you rely less on advertising and cold calls and more on blogs, podcasts, Facebook and other social media tools to grow your business.
Yup, you heard me. Those tools that your teenage son or grandaughter are using to find old classmates or gossip about the latest Hollywood scandal is being used by many business leaders and business owners as a tool to find new clients, make money and create your personal brand.
Want to learn how?
I invite you to click here to check out the information page for the first Social Media Telesummit. There you will find information about a virtual event that I’m hosting.
This 8 day virtual event features 26 amazing speakers who will teach you how to use social media for business. There’s no fluff at this event. Instead, each speaker will teach you a specific skill without using any “geek speak.”
I should know. I hand picked each one based on their ability to explain social media in terms that any business leader or business owner can understand. Very refreshing!
Again, check out the Social Media Telesummit page and make 2008 your best year yet by attending this event.
You game?
