I’m no financial planner, but I’ve found a fun way to manage my expenses without using the dreaded spreadsheet. I call this the Money Card Shuffle and I actually look forward to balancing the books every month using this clever game.
Here’s what you’ll need…
- A deck of playing cards
- A dozen white envelopes
- A marker or pen
And you’ll need to watch this video for instructions…

Don’t make the mistake of thinking this is just for kids…
While I do encourage parents to use the Money Card Shuffle to teach their kids about expenses, this game is perfect if you need to talk to your business partner, assistant, spouse, partner or other family member about their reckless spending habits. When money is fun, we pay attention to it.
What say you?
What is your reaction to the video? Are you excited about sharing the Money Card Shuffle? If not, what challenge do you think you’ll face? If you have, what were the results? Share below…
