A Friday morning coffee with my friend, Michael Port, turned into a quick commute to Toronto Pearson International airport so he could re-book a missed flight.
While he drove me in my car to the airport, I pulled out my video camera so I could capture Michael’s thoughts on his newest book, The Think Big Manifesto. It’s a fun interview and when you read the show notes below, you’ll see why it’s well worth the 8-minute watch.

You reap what you sow and do until others as you would have them do until you. This is what I hear Michael saying (through my filters) in his closing thoughts, which I agree with wholeheartedly. It’s refreshing to hear a successful business man putting his customers first and not be all about the money. Thanks for sharing. I take it he was at the right terminal and was able to board his plane on time. 🙂
I never would have guessed Michael to be 38! That’s much too young to have said all there is to say, I think. 😀

I have a few of Michael’s books and I look forward to his latest book. I heard him speak at a seminar and I thought he was one of the most down to earth speakers I’ve ever met. You’re in that same category so it’s great to see the both of you communicate together in this video. Thanks for sharing!

The Art of Storytelling with Children A podcast for the storytelling community. I love how this project really ties into his ideas of creating a success by including people. I am looking forward to reading this book.
Michael at his best. He re-defines transparency, is willing to put his thoughts out there, no matter how much controversy and inspires all of us to think bigger on a daily basis.
I really appreciate the depth of Michael’s integrity. I find his transparency very refreshing. You can see that he feels this very deeply – to do right by his readers, listeners and those who buy his products. I believe he has opened up a very thorny issue and ofcourse not every one will agree. I do appreciate Michael’s willingness to put it right out there, come what may.
