Meshcasts are Meshilicious, Playa

The Meshcasts (Rob’s term) are up on the Mesh blog. Thanks to Uncle Seth for that wonderful song called To Be An Angel that I used in both the intro and outro.

I was having a devil of a time trying to find something that could capture the energy of Mesh and then I stumbled upon that song.

As I perused a few blogs that made mention of the Meshcasts, I couldn’t help but notice a miscegenation of the word Mesh with other Web 2.0 terms. Meshcast is just one, so let’s have fun with this.

Here are a few of mine:

  • Meshcast – The Mesh Conference podcast
  • Meshlog – The Mesh Conference blog
  • Meshcon – Short form for Mesh Conference
  • Meshiki – Hybrid of Mesh and wiki, although it looks like a strong Japanese drink
  • Meshcamp – Another name for the Barcamp Unconference that happened a couple days before the official Mesh conference back in March.
  • Mesh 2.0 – Well, since it’s the 2nd year they’re holding this thing…
  • MeshMac – To honour the 2 guys on the organizing team whose last name begins with Mc (or Mac), although it sounds like a hip hop term meaning “a playa putting the moves on not just one, but many at the same time.” In essence, I was meshmacking with the peeps last week at the Mesh meetup. Although I wasn’t putting the moves on anyone, I did feel like a playa as I would get what I needed from one person (the interview), then I’d move on to someone else. But, I digress…
  • Meshilicious – How to describe your experience after attending the Mesh conference, as in, “It was meshilicious.”

What Mesh hybrid would you add to this list?
