Don’t Let Someone Express Their Freedom Through Your Bondage

“Don’t let someone express their freedom through your bondage.”

Chaos, confusion, mayhem. All things that keep you in bondage and you’re addicted to its pull.

Addiction is where you participate in something that provides temporary pleasure, but with adverse effects. For example:

  • You get the pay raise (temporary pleasure), but you’re still working long hours (adverse effect)
  • You get the guy (temporary pleasure), but you’re settling for someone who has cargo, and not just baggage (adverse effect)
  • You can finally afford the medication (temporary pleasure), but it comes with frightening side effects (adverse effect)

It’s not your fault…

You may not recognize your addiction to bondage because it feels familiar. And what is familiar is safe.

This may pain you to hear, but someone or something is benefiting from your bondage.

The company increases its profits based on your stress, the guy gets pleasure from your presence, and the doctor gets paid as a result of your illness.
It’s healthy to quit this addiction. If you desire to get rid of the bondage in your life, respond with ‪#‎ImOverIt‬.
