My book, Unleash the Flow of Money, launched yesterday with much fanfare. 18 joint venture partners shared information about the book with their list. I watched with anticipation on how the book would do. I’m happy to announce that the book moved into the #1 spot at around 11pm Eastern on February 18, 2014 in the Christian Stewardship category.

The book that has since bumped mine from the #1 spot has an endorsement from Dave Ramsay and is published by Random House, a big player in the publishing space. How could a self-published title by an indie publisher with no big name backing unseat a book that has all that fire power?

It comes down to one single thing…

When you let go of your doubts, God takes over. When you obey what He has called you to do, He steps in. When your giftings can only take you so far, God will take it the rest of way.

I have learned the power of faith through this experience. The manuscript was done in November after eight days of writing. I sent it to my editor in December and she sent it back to me, edited, in December.

My fears started to set in. I was making excuses as to why I couldn’t launch the book. I then started editing the manuscript because I thought it was too niched, too focused on a particular audience.

But God is good. As I was editing the manuscript, I started to read my own words. It was like a sisterly rebuke. I could see, through my own advice in the pages of the book, that I was letting fear take control.

So, I let go and let God…

I let go of my expectations. I let go of the excuses. I let go of what was holding me back. I, instead, let God take over. I prayed and left it all to Him.

Get a copy for yourself…

The book is specifically written for Christian female business owners. Men will benefit from what’s in the book, so if you want to get a copy, please do so. Just note that most of the examples and stories in the book are geared towards women.

Update: Here’s the screen capture of the book in the #1 spot. Click on the image to expand it if you need to see the details.
